Mark Allison & Stuart Tester Leave The Club
Following last nights AGM Gedling Miners Welfare FC have unfortunately last the services for the forthcoming season of 1st team manager Mark Allison who has resigned from his position to join ex GMWFC manager Duncan Broad at local rivals and fellow East Midland Counties Team Gedling Town. We he will take up the position of joint manager alongside Duncan. We also lost the services of committee member Stuart Tester due to his decision to retire from local football.
Chairman Vic Hulme commented “It’s a real shame to lose Mark and Stuart from our club, they have both been instrumental in its recent development to one of the best teams / facilities at this level. I wish them well for the future and would always extend a warm welcome to both of them if they ever wish to pop in at any time”
