CARTER LEAVES HIS MARK AT DINNINGTON!

Despite being held to a 2-2 draw at home By Barton Town Old Boys, Stadium Services Supreme Division leaders, Dunkirk, took another step towards the title.
Thomas Baker and Mark Nangle scoring for Dunkirk. Paul Grimes and Christian Hyslop replying for fourth placed, Barton.
Another bad day at the office for second placed Pelican, defeated at home on Easter Monday, they surrendered a further two vital points being held at home by mid- table Appleby Frodingham, drawing 3-3.
Mark Dakin, Andrew Hawes and Jason Russell scoring the Pelican goals. Matthew Robinson, who notched a brace and Lee Adamson on target for Appleby.
Fortunately 3rd placed Dinnington Town, also had a bad day, losing 3-2 at home against Clipstone Welfare and it was Mark Carter who was the Clipstone hero scoring all is side's goals. James Hendry and Roger McKenzie the Dinnington goal scorers.
A big sign of relief at Teversal, after some disappointing results the North Nottinghamshire club, who are 5th, returned too winning ways away at Gedling Miners Welfare, goals by Iain Roe and Richard Walker giving 'The Tevies' a 2-0 victory and ended the home teams recent run of good results.
Gedling drop to 6th but 7th placed Holbrook Miners Welfare are now only a point behind the Nottinghamshire club.
Holbrook added to Rolls Royce Leisure relegation woes by winning 1-0 at Watnall Road. Tomas Kellogh scoring the only goal of the game for the Derbyshire club.
Another Derbyshire club, Graham St Prims turned on a super performance at the Asterdale, destroying visitors Southwell City 6-1.
Adam Lillie led the way with a hat trick, Leigh Grant, Matt McCaul and James Slinger adding the other goals.
A good week for Radford, a midweek win at Greenwood Meadows, 2-0; being followed by a 1-0 home success over Rainworth Miners Welfare, Robert Woolridge the Radford scorer, the two wins take Radford up seventeenth place.
Heanor Town after a good Easter, dropped back into the relegation positions, losing 3-0 at Sandiacre Town.
Sandiacre's former players, Nicolas Ghislanzoni (2) and Lee Aldred, who have both recently returned to to the club, scored the goals.
Nettleham needed the full three points at home to Greenwood Meadows but they had to be content with one, the final score 1-1. Ben Garrick scoring for the home team. Adrian Beech for visitors Greenwood.
Nettleham, who are in 18th place, are now only three points away from third from bottom Heanor and have played five games more.
Sandwiched between Heanor and Nettleham are Blackwell Miners Welfare, after their recent results Blackwell where expected to take all three points at Askern Welfare and they duly obliged, goals by Garren Haslam and Carl Longmore giving the visitors a 2-1 win, from seemingly an hopeless position of a few weeks ago Blackwell under New Manager, Kev Jackson, have produced championship form, which as taken them away from the relegation positions.

Vipond Premier Division leaders AFC Barnsley, already promoted to the Supreme Division, continue to make 'hay' and for the second time this season hit double figures, this time it was Newark Flowserve who where on the end of AFC's lethal strikers, Gavin Bassender and Peter Stubley hit hat tricks, Mark Hancock got a brace and both Gary Hatto and John Senior also scored as the Yorkshire club won 10-0. With 130 goals scored Barnsley are on course to beat the CMFL scoring record in a season.
This result takes AFC fifteen points clear of second placed Grimsby Borough and now need only nine points from their last five games to take the title.
2nd, 3rd and 4th placed clubs, Grimsby Borough, Bolsover Town and Newark Town where without games, so a chance for the challenging clubs to make ground. Kimberley Town did just that, Kimberley visited Forest Town and first half goals by Abdul Amed and Bjon Taylor gave 'The Stags' a 2-0 win and takes them up to 4th place.
Ollerton Town remain 5th they visited Matlock United and added to the home teams recent miserable run of results by taking a point in a 2-2 draw.
With only one point from the last ten the home team's promotion hopes have taken a battering.
Stephen Gilbert and Stephen Simms scored for Matlock. Ollerton replying through Dean Hankey and Oliver Tatterson.
Newark Town drop from 4th to 6th place with Pinxton 7th.
Pinxton are another side who continue to drop vital points and they where held to a 3-3 draw by Bentley Colliery.
Lynk (2) and Darren Bettison scoring for Pinxton. Mark Cooper, James Naylor and Chris Scott the Bentley goal scorers.
Bottesford Town are producing promotion form but their early season results have probably left them with very little chance of a promotion place but again they gave an impressive performance, winning 5-1 at Santos.
Mark Anderson and Andrew Sharp both hit 2, Mark Elston scoring the other goal. Anthony Shannon scored a consolation goal for the home team.
Thorne Colliery the bottom club have improved considerably in the last few weeks but they found visitors Thoresby Colliery Welfare to hot to handle and goals by Dean Goddard and Liam Tebbett gave the visitors a 2-0 win at Moorends.
Blidworth Welfare continue to flirt with a re-election position and despite a goal from Kyle Mc Dermott they went down to defeat number twenty away at Welbeck Welfare, the home team winning 2-1 with two goals by Tony Langley.

Holbrook Miners Welfare Reserves regained the leadership of Lee's Reserves Premier Division but they dropped two points being held at home by Sandiacre Town Reserves 2-2. Mark De_Ath scoring both the Holbrook goals.
Second placed Southwell City where without a game.
Rainworth Miners Welfare Reserves, who are 3rd, won 2-0 at Kimberley Town Reserves and Radford Reserves also won on their travels 3-1 at Pelican Reserves.
Two goals by Gavin Jones helped Thoresby Colliery Welfare Reserves to a 5-2 home win over bottom team Rolls Royce Leisure Reserves and Matthew Clowes also scored twice for Heanor Town Reserves who won at The Town Ground against Clipstone Welfare Reserves 4-1.
Teversal Reserves took the points at home against Forest Town Reserves winning 1-0.

In Lee's Reserves Division One, leaders Dunkirk Reserves still hold a two point lead over Nettleham Reserves, both where without games.
Third placed Sandiacre Town 'A' won 5-2 at Bolsover Town Reserves, two for Lee Coulson, and with games in hand of both Nettleham and Dunkirk have a great chance of having a say in the final championship outcome. As far as Dunkirk Reserves are concerned they will be looking to complete the double having won the Phoenix Trophies Reserves League Cup in midweek defeating Appleby Frodingham 2-1 at Rainworth M W.
Appleby Frodingham Reserves, returned to league action, with a 2-1 win at bottom team Ollerton Town Reserves and Newark Town Reserves won by the same score at Southwell City 'A'.
The match between Blidworth Welfare Reserves and Newark Flowserve Reserves ended 1-1.
